Research study: Social Networking use in corporations


A 2009 survey by Frost & Sullivan examined corporate use of social networking, policies regarding corporate social networking sites, and the utilisation of Web 2.0 tools and received 1428 responses and revealed that:
1. About 40% of organisations formally used social networking / Web 2.0 tools.
2. 80% of survey respondents personally used Web 2.0 technologies to connect and share with friends and family while at work.
