Establishing reliable strategy deployment metrics is crucial for the continued success of an organisation. To reach the top and remain competitive, organisational performance must be regularly monitored and evaluated. When Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are monitored by an organisation’s top-level leadership—and subordinate measures of each KPI are cascaded down through the organisation in a cohesive manner—it is possible to have a profound impact. These metrics lead to the strategic goals of an organisation being properly addressed, and facilitate major shifts in performance. Metrics ultimately define the success of an organisation.
