The Best Practice Sharing Extravaganza (Qualifying round) will start on the 7th of June and the last session will be on the 23rd of June. During the competition days, more than 60 best practices in 15 best practice areas will be presented. Each team will show an 8-minute presentation followed by a Question and Answer session with a panel of judges and open to other participants for best practice learning.

Performance Profile of Wellstar Paulding Hospital

Wellstar Paulding Hospital (WPH), of Hiram, Georgia, a community hospital and a 2020 Baldrige National Quality Award recipient, sustained top 10% performance for its mortality index and for its inpatient complications index within the national IBM Watson Health 100 Top Hospitals index. It is also in the top 10% in the nation for a sustained pressure ulcer rate of zero. For several key measures of inpatient and outpatient engagement, WPH has achieved top 10% performance in the nation and rates in the top 100 of 1,800 organisations in all industries for team member engagement based on the Great Place to Work® Trust Index© survey results.

Performance Measurement at Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund

Being a small organisation, only two levels of performance data were needed to measure, review, and improve performance at the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF), a US Public Defined Benefit (DB) pension plan. The Leadership Scorecard was the key approach to select, collect, align, and integrate the data and information used to track overall organisational performance and progress on action plans. The key short- and long-term financial measures are included in the Financial Health KRA. IMRF used Departmental / operational data including standards, VOC surveys, and CEM benchmarking data to track daily operations. IMR was a 2019 Baldrige National Quality Award recipient.
