(incorporating the 4th Organisation-Wide Innovation Award and the 7th Global Benchmarking Award)

This is an opportunity to participate in a global virtual event to share and learn best practices.

The International Best Practice Competition encourages organizations to share their best operational and managerial practices, processes, systems, and initiatives and learn from the experience of others. It provides an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of individuals and teams that have been responsible for creating and/or managing the introduction and deployment of best practices.

To submit your application visit the link below where you can download an entry form. The First Call for entries closes on 21 February 2022. Qualifier round presentations will be held in webinar format between 20 April to 29 April 2022. Best of the Best – Awards Spectacular (the finals) will be held on 11 and 12 May 2022.

Publication of the 3rd Cycle of Dubai We Learn Book – 10 Benchmarking Case Studies

The book Achieving Performance Excellence Through Benchmarking and Organisational Learning is a joint publication by the Dubai Government Excellence Program and the Centre for Organisational Excellence Research (COER). The book describes 10 TRADE Best Practice Benchmarking projects that were undertaken as part of DGEP’s 3rd Cycle of Dubai We Learn.
The book with its narrative on each project and relevant figures and photographs provides a rich source of evidence-based performance improvement stories. The case studies have been rigorously documented showing how each project progressed through the five stages of TRADE.

Best Practice Report: Cybersecurity Management

Cybersecurity management refers to how organisations protect their data, information systems, networks, programmes and computers from cyberattacks, intrusions, malware or any other type of cybersecurity breach.
Over the past decade, the risk and severity of cyberattacks have steadily grown. The world has seen devastating cases of cybercrimes, including unprecedented breaches of data, microchip flaws and cryptojacking, which is an emerging online threat in which criminals “mine” for cryptocurrencies using the victim’s own computer. These attacks have left hundreds of millions of users vulnerable to hackers, who gain access to credit cards, bank account numbers and passwords.
