Georgia Pacific’s Communication Papers Division established a behavioural safety based Occupational Safety and Health programme to reduce workplace injuries. The programme focussed on identifying and eliminating potentially unsafe practices within the plants. When an unsafe behaviour was identified the company addressed the unsafe behaviour with extensive education and training.
