To cut costs, automate training processes, and enhance its ability to offer first class courses to associates, the Cincinnati Insurance Co. (CIC) introduced e-learning in 2000. An outside provider was sourced to deliver, track, and report on company internet training at a license fee for 5,000 users of about $75,000.
