In 1998, Design Mobel (NZ) Ltd, a well established company that designs, manufactures and markets (70% export) fine quality furniture (predominantly bedroom furniture), was interviewed by a 'Best Practice' survey team regarding its employee practices.
Design Mobel staff are run in teams, wear morale boosting 'sports type' company uniforms and through participation in the SWOT analysis, feel a certain ownership of company direction....
