Patient flow improvements at the Charleston Area Medical Centre Emergency Department (ED) resulted in positive outcomes in customer satisfaction. In 2015, every CAMC hospital reported they were at or approaching the benchmark Baldrige recipient Top Box target. Against the benchmark of 70%, overall ED satisfaction at CAMC was 50% in 2012, 55% in 2013, 75% in 2014 and 77.5% through Jun 2015. CAMC won the 2015 Baldrige National Quality Award....
