During his recent visit to the United Arab Emirates, Dr Robin Mann, Director, Centre for Organisational Excellence Research (COER) and Founder of the International Best Practice Competition bestowed upon the UAE-based winners of the 8th International Best Practice Competition 2022, their award plaques and certificates in recognition of their outstanding work.

2022 New Zealand Best Practice Competition Winners Announced

Two joint winners of the 3rd New Zealand Best Practice Competition 2022 were announced on 9 November 2022 by the New Zealand Business Excellence Foundation and Centre for Organisational Excellence Research. The competition recognizes exceptional best practices across industries, sectors, and functions. The criteria and judging system are aligned to the International Best Practice Competition.

During the annual competition that gathers global best practices, Obeikan Digital Solutions one of Obeikan Investment Group subsidiaries was competing against 62 other best practices and was among the 14 international finalists from various categories. Obeikan Digital Solutions achieved 6-Stars as an outstanding best practice in the International Best Practice Competition for the year 2022, earning 6 stars and marking their place among leading businesses.

The Dubai Government Excellence Program Launches the 5th Cycle of Dubai We Learn

After four successful cycles of Dubai We Learn, an initiative by the Dubai Government Excellence Programme (DGEP) in partnership with the Centre of Organisational Excellence Research (COER), New Zealand, a 5th cycle was launched on 9 March 2022 by Dr Hazza Al Nuaimi, DGEP Coordinator-General. This cycle will focus on four joint projects to research best practices in areas of key importance to strengthen the Dubai government and the services it provides

Publication of the 3rd Cycle of Dubai We Learn Book – 10 Benchmarking Case Studies

The book Achieving Performance Excellence Through Benchmarking and Organisational Learning is a joint publication by the Dubai Government Excellence Program and the Centre for Organisational Excellence Research (COER). The book describes 10 TRADE Best Practice Benchmarking projects that were undertaken as part of DGEP’s 3rd Cycle of Dubai We Learn.

8th International Best Practice Competition – Call for Entries

The International Best Practice Competition (IBPC) encourages organizations to share their best operational and managerial practices, processes, systems, and initiatives and learn from the experience of others. Every organisation has some good or great practices – what are yours?
Whilst winners of the award are likely to have jaw-dropping “best practices” rated as 7 ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ we encourage entries showcasing practices at a range of standards to facilitate learning and the strengthening of practices – it is a wonderful learning opportunity obtaining feeedback from judges and listening to best practice presentations from other organisations.
