An Update to the International Best Practice Competition 2024

We are thrilled to announce the latest update on the 10th International Best Practice Competition 2024, a platform that celebrates outstanding best practices and fosters a culture of sharing. As we draw closer to the competition, we are excited to announce that we have received an overwhelming response, with over 50 applications submitted from countries including Canada, India, Iran, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates.

Congratulations to the winning and participating teams of the 2nd Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Excellence Award 2023 on their efforts to make the world a better place for everyone!

The award recipients were announced on Friday, 8 September 2023 after the meticulous assessments of their written application submissions, presentations, and live Q&A Sessions during the Finals of the award that were held on Thursday, 7 September 2023.

The 9th International Best Practice Competition (IBPC) 2023, the 5th Organisation-Wide Innovation Award (OWIA) 2023, the Global Benchmarking Network’s (GBN) 8th Global Benchmarking Award 2023, and the 4th New Zealand Best Practice Competition (NZBPC) 2023 assembled some of the most brilliant and brightest minds in the world from the public, private, and non-government sector in its shared vision to build a universal community of business excellence professionals and leaders.

International Best Practice Competition 2023, 7-Star Recipients Announced

It is with great pleasure that we share the names of the 7-Star and 6-Star Best Practice Award Recipients from the 14 Finalists at the 9th International Best Practice Competition 2023 (IBPC)!

The award recipients were announced and recognized for their exceptional performance in a virtual ceremony on Thursday, 20 July 2023 after the Qualifying Round (Round 2) and Final (Round 3) of meticulous assessments of their written application submissions, presentations, and live Q&A Sessions (held between June 19 and July 19, 2023).

Summer School on Quality and Organizational Excellence 2023

The Summer School on Quality and Organizational Excellence returns after four years, with a focus on “Digital Quality”. The event aims to bring together people from around the world to share knowledge and discuss quality. The program includes master classes on topics related to Digital Quality and Quality 4.0, industrial tours, and a sightseeing tour of Braga. The Summer School offers more than 20 hours of contact for participants to learn, share experiences and insights, and network with colleagues.

Future of Quality in Higher Education Summit

“Future of Quality in Higher Education Summit” is organized by the Quality in Education Think Tank (QiETT) of International Academy of Quality (IAQ), which is a global group of international experts and enthusiasts on Quality in Education. The summit will focus on changing trends in Quality aspects of higher education and sow the seeds to transform education in a rapidly changing world.

2022 New Zealand Best Practice Competition Winners Announced

Two joint winners of the 3rd New Zealand Best Practice Competition 2022 were announced on 9 November 2022 by the New Zealand Business Excellence Foundation and Centre for Organisational Excellence Research. The competition recognizes exceptional best practices across industries, sectors, and functions. The criteria and judging system are aligned to the International Best Practice Competition.

E-learning Programme and App for Corporate Governance Launched

Dr John Bullivant, a founder of the UK Benchmarking Institute and the Good Governance Institute (GGI) and friend of the BPIR.com, will explain in a forthcoming seminar how his new organisation, the Centre for Quality in Governance (CQG “) has utilised many years of experience and its network to create a unique suite of e-learning modules which, whilst targeted at an eclectic international and business market, has particular roots in the NHS throughout the UK and public services in general. Its premise is Governance is critical to designing future delivery systems that are resilient, sustainable and inclusive.

ESG Reporting Getting it Right! – Conference on 17/18 November 2022

The 2022 New Zealand Business Excellence Foundation’s Quest for Excellence conference is about the redefinition of excellence based on new ESG standards, and the importance of transparency and reporting. It’s about communicating what organisations are doing to build trust, and showing consumers that business practices are leading to a sustainable future. The conference will have input on ESG from world leaders and experts who will talk about the importance of professional auditing and reporting. It will examine models of ESG and explore case studies of local and international deployment.

OWIA and GBN 2022 Award Winners

With immense delight, we share the names of the Winners and Runners-Up of the 4th Organisation-Wide Innovation Award 2022, and the 7th Global Benchmarking Award 2022, the Finals of which were held on 04 August 2022. The Pioneer In Excellence Prizes 2022 were also awarded to organisations that had the most best practices assessed at 4-Stars or above, 5-Stars or above, or, 6-Stars or above at the 8th International Best Practice Competition 2022.
