Congratulations to DEWA on a remarkable achievement

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) recently participated in the IBPC Best Practice Certification Programme, with 11 best practices achieving a 5-Star rating or higher and being recognised as international best practices.

The IBPC Best Practice Certification Programme uses the same 7-Star Rating System as the International Best Practice Competition, but operates in a more flexible and in-depth format. While the competition is held once a year, organisations can participate in the certification programme at a time that suits them, typically with around 10 best practices assessed per programme.

The Centre for Organisational Excellence Research (COER) works closely with participating organisations to identify their strongest practices and support them in preparing high-quality applications and presentations. Organisations use the programme to validate, showcase, and strengthen best practices across departments, functions, and processes.

DEWA’s success is a powerful example of how validated best practices can support and sustain an organisation’s excellence journey. This achievement is particularly significant as DEWA has launched DEWA International to share its expertise, innovation, and best practices worldwide, supporting other organisations in the utilities sector.
