Application/Key learning points: The NHS patient survey programme enables the United Kingdom’s Care Quality Commission and others to build up a national picture of people’s experience within the NHS system so comparisons can be made of the performance of different organisations; of changes over time; and, of variations between different patient groups. A number of useful guides and factsheets have been produced to help organisations analyse and interpret their data and act on the results. NHS Surveys, Care Quality Commission, holds the copyright for these questionnaires.
