Application/Key learning points: Most EMS organisations have a long list of things they’d like to do, from updating hiring practices and improving safety to routine maintenance. Yet the way items move from the "to-do" list to the “completed” list often has more to do with how urgent something is than how important it is. Allina Health EMS, a hospital-owned non-profit EMS system that serves approximately 1 million people in Minnesota, is a great example of how a system can refocus its priorities and get the important things done in a timely manne.
