Application/Key learning points: This 71-page report reviews progress made by NHS ambulance services and assesses whether they are providing value for money. Since April 2011, all ambulance trusts in England have been measured against 11 ambulance quality performance indicators, with seven ambulance systems indicators (such as response times) and four clinical outcome indicators. Among the many highlights of this excellent report are the key facts on p. 6; as well as pp 29, 40, and 43 of Part 2, which focus on the implementation of new models of care.
