TRADE Best Practice Benchmarking
The BPIR provides full access to the TRADE Best Practice Benchmarking Methodology enabling members to learn and apply a proven approach for benchmarking. Members may download the latest version of TRADE training materials, TRADE project management spreadsheet and supporting videos.
The TRADE Methodology guides members through every stage and step of a benchmarking project, from setting a project plan to searching for and applying best practices. The BPIR’s best practices databases and networking capability helps you to find best practices and benchmarking partners to explore in-depth how a best practice could be applied or modified to your organisation.
Dr Robin Mann, founder of the TRADE Methodology, explains how benchmarking encourages innovation. Examples of benchmarking projects are given including how TRADE supported the Dubai Executive Council’s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management in responding to and managing the COVID-19 Pandemic.
An example of a TRADE Best Practice Benchmarking project by Dubai Police to identify and implement best practices in vehicle fleet maintenance to improve vehicle availability and labour productivity.
