Event Details
Pursuing best practices enables organisations to continually question the status quo and stimulates innovation – thus resulting in more effective practices and appealing products and services.
Whilst the desire for better/best practices is widespread the approach to identify, understand and implement best practices is often unclear or applied inconsistently. For this reason, the TRADE Best Practice Benchmarking Methodology was developed.
The methodology and its associated certification system provides a proven approach to pursue and implement best practices leading to long-term cultural change and leading-edge processes, practices and performance. TRADE is focused on the exchange (or “trade”) of information and best practices to dramatically improve the performance of processes, goods and services. The name of TRADE reminds users to develop strong two-way relationships with other organisations (the benchmarking partners) in order to share or trade information and best practices for mutual benefit.
TRADE consists of five stages:
- Terms of Reference (plan the project)
- Review (review current state)
- Acquire (acquire best practices)
- Deploy (communicate & implement best practices)
- Evaluate (evaluate the benchmarking process & outcomes)
Training dates: 15 July, 22 July, 29 July, and 5 August
Timing: 8:00 am to 11am UTC
